Who we are looking for:
We are looking for interns who can contribute to JobTarget's software engineering department. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver, self-driven individual who is flexible, and eager to gain experience writing software at a complicated technology-driven business.

What you will be exposed to:
As a software engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work along-side our engineering team and solve complicated problems with code. You will gain experience building and shipping solutions that make a real difference for job seekers and teams. You will work on a clearly defined project with rewarding goals that will give you valuable experience for your future career.

Possible responsibilities include:

• Writing software in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, C#, Python, PHP, or Java
• Writing unit tests
• Debugging
• Automating infrastructure
• Prototyping
• Code review

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a technology-focused degree program at a college or university (part-time or full-time)
• Must be able to demonstrate previous experience writing software (school or personal project work is great)
• Must posses a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written skills
• Must be able to take direction but work independently
• Must have a strong desire to learn about the sales industry

Length of Internship:

• Flexible with class schedules, but must be able to work a minimum of 4 hours per day, with a minimum of 12 hours a week
